Game on for Gambia
It was fantastic to see the pictures that Graham Shermans and Darren Hodgkiss of Pelsall Villa Colts had sent back from their recent trip to Gambia. Pelsall Villa Colts have for some time been actively involved with the Charity “Unity For Kids”, and put on twice-yearly quiz nights, (in which the M.G. team came a credible 3rd), and collect outgrown boots and kit which is sent out to the village football team, New Jeshwang.
Graham and Darren finally got the chance to fly out to the village thanks to sponsorship by Co-op Travel and took with them a new kit and kit bags donated by M.G.Sportswear, and had also bought the team new football boots.
It’s great to know that our football community spreads all over the world thanks to the hard work and commitment of everyone at Pelsall Villa Colts and we hope to continue to support them in their efforts.
